fried kingfish head. i dont like fish.. and i dont like fried food.. but this fried fish was so smooth it was actually rather enjoyable.

this dish was like 40 bucks?? lol. 4 pieces of wagyu beef and lady's finger and salt. but! this wagyu is grade 8! there are 9 grades of wagyu beef, and grade 8 and 9 are rarely seen out of japan. grade 9 is further split to grades up to 12. im not fussy. grade 8 will do fine for me. lol.

it can be shi, shiyura, shiyo [like shio, hiro's favourite type of marinate or smth right?], ju, jo, so, sou, soo, tsui [ehhh tsui san! LOL], no, hao and ron.

there is even a surname called 徐松 joumatsu which is kinda cool cos thats like my surname [first!!!] then hiro's! lol. which reminds me, i think there are a lot of pine trees in japan.. cos so many surnames have 松 in them o.o

today was the first time in this aust trip, or in australia for that matter, that i have ever drunk so much. but not a lot really.. i was busy taking care of my caretakers. lol. more about this later.. lemme go on about my boring day till i get to the good stuff.

so i met my sister at flinders as usual.. OHHH I SAW A RAINBOWW. and it was an ACTUAL BOW.. from ground to ground!!! OMGGGGGGGGGG but i didnt get to take a pic cos i was in the train.. but OMGGGGGGG ITS SOOOO PRETTY!!! *sigh* lovess~ soo.. this pretty rainbow will be my goodluck sign for.. idk what. but for something. hmm... *hinthinthiro*

then we tried this new restaurant which had a touch screen menu.. kinda like sakae sushi.. only that its touch screen.. and way more expensive.. like just my sis and i ate up to 70 bucks.. lol. and the food was alright.. the xlb was GOOOOOOD. but the rest not so good. like my broinlaw cooks so much better.

then had to meet my broinlaw in some pub or smth called florist.. or smth. lol. i dunno. i tied a cutsey hairstyle today.. like 2 little pony tails.. and they didnt even check my ID! not like i had one to begin with.. but whatever. haha. they were having 2 for 1.. and the amount of drinks my broinlaw ordered was... freaky.

so my broinlaw took leave today.. started drinking at noon.. and i arrived there with my sis at 7.. and he was loud. like anyone who has met my broinlaw would know that he mumbles.. he was actually articulating his words very well!! and he was telling me the difference between food money and drinks money. and you have 1 part food and 1 part drinks.. and i was like okay.. so yours is 2 times? then he was like, "nahh mine's like 5 times.."

ohya. it was some girl's bday party. shes 19. and she came like waayy after my sis and i arrived.. my sis was alr at her 2nd vodka and i was still barely 1/4 my bourbon coke. i was given bourbon coke cos its sweet. lol. my broinlaw was doing whiskey shots by the double and quarts.. 2 for 1 happy hour...

then.. my sis was crazy.. and she demanded a Jägerbomb so my broinlaw ordered 6. and gave me one cup.. and i know youre supposed to do shots.. but i wanna keep my head.. so i took a sip.. then i was like.. ehh.. nice.. so i drank a bit more.. then i tasted the alcohol.... so i took out the shot and gave it to my sis and i took the rest of the redbull. haha. i like redbull flavour better.

then my sis started ordering skittle bomb.. and then my broinlaw ordered agwa bomb.. on top of his whiskey shots.. and he was going around pouring his whiskey to his friend's drink. he accidently poured into my mine [he thought it was no one's cos it was quite full] and my sister soooo scolded him for that and he exchanged it with a fresh one.. and some poor soul out there took my double whiskey bourbon coke lol.

there were so many drinks.. there were always like 4 extra of whatever drink there was.. so anyone could easily get a new drink.. it was crazy -.- my main role was to help my sis.. my broinlaw wouldnt go home till all his friends were wasted.. so i made sure while my sis did the entertaining.. i passed the drinks to make sure they were having enough alcohol. havoc place!!! LOL.

i was like the most sane.. and everyone was like.. "where's your drink?!?!?!" and i was sitting near my very full replaced bourbon. lol. and i was like "im the responsible one.. i have to make sure these two get home.." and EVERYONE agreed!! wahahhaha.

then my sister got really high so we left with my broinlaws friends and we had KFC! and i had this really nice warm caramel cake!!! it was AWESOME!! xD

then we went home... with my sister and broinlaw swearing at each other in every other sentence. -.- my role models! and we watched ace of cakes! omg. i love love love watching ace of cakes. *sigh* i just found out that 1 cake from that company, charm city cakes, is at least 1k USD!!!

so all in all, i have very little to drink. i want to sleep in my nice comfy hello kitty bed, and not some couch in a pub. lol. i had 1 veryveryvery diluted bourbon coke, 1 red bull and 1 agwa bomb.. and a caramel cake and loads of fries.

okay. i just rmbered that the pub pics are in my camera and i dont have the cable with me.. so.. next entry okay! xDD

moving on.. my bro in law got 500 bullets. real bullets.

i recall in one MA lecture in SP, ambrose mentioned that inflation rates in australia are like 11%-16%, so even though you invest in a FD in aust which gives like 7% returns.. you're making a real loss. well here's news.. the last time inflation rates were above 10 was in 1983 at around 11%, and they immediately fell and stayed at the 2-3% range. okay.. so i live with 2 msian, 2 south africans, and soon a korean. all guys. and im the only darling girl singaporean. which also means.. nothing much really. im a frog in my well. i dont even socialise, its so damn sad. my school has these MUBS for the students.. or BISA for intl students.. but really not that interested.. cos i wanna know GIRLS. but to date the only girl i've met is priscilia, singaporean girl.. and i've said hi to this china girl but today she totally ignored me when i smiled at her. sup with the china 'tude man. i even said hi to this china guy who looks like yaoming, cos my accounting class was changed last week and we two were searching high and low for the classroom.. then we asked this lecturer for directions and it was in a postgraduate room.

ohhhhh i have to blog about the postgrad room!! its such an awesome room. first of all, its on the third floor. i didnt even know we had a third floor. whats the big deal? ok. in singapore, we go up and down 6 stories everyday and complain. over here, everything is on the first floor. there is like 1 lift. cos you dont need more than that. LOL. but thats just cos my campus is small.

ok. i've deviated too much. back to the postgrad room. okay. i know im a comp nub, and i also know that they do sell this technology to the public.. i saw it during the recent IT show.. they have the tablet wall pc thing!!!! so like.. my teacher just writes on the thing.. with different coloured "markers" and its like MS paint.. but you use "marker" and write on the wall.. HOW AWESOME IS THAT? ok this week i try and sneak a pic of it. its awesome ttm okay.

okay.. moving on from awesome rooms.. oh wait.. lemme go back to awesome rooms. pris and i got lost in one of the buildings in my school.. 2nd level.. and we stumbled upon an awesome chillax room.. like with tvs, sofa chairs, microwave etc.. its nice. maybe we should bump into it again and snap a pic. haha.

yepp.. usually if i cook too much dinner, i will pack lunch and microwave it in school the next day. saves money cos the food here aint cheap, and more variety cos the variety here is.... well.....

moving on.. next to the student pantry theres also this tank. and for very long i just stared at it, being something i've never seen before in my life.. then i came to an awesome realisation.

so yep.. i asked my sis for a tumbler.. and now i can pao my own tea! LOL. got more cheapskate? no lah. stuff here really ex okay. 1 tea here can order $3 yong tau fu laksa in FC6 okay!!!!

as for family and shopping.. i had dimsum lunch at crystal jade on saturday with my sis, bro inlaw and his cousin.. then my sis and i went shopping and my brother inlaw had to save the world [starcraft 2]. yep. thats life with my family. rather heroic if you ask me..

okay. not really. but he did cut off the tip of his left pinky while chopping idk what. and instead of bringing that piece of chopped pig's finger to the hospital, he threw it away!!! >.<

ohhh today i owned law class okay. i know my DBF mates will be so proud of me =) [omg i haolianing ttm LOL] but.. like i pro in class, then after class still can challenge my lecturer okay. GOT MORE MAN A NOT!!

so moving on. my law tutor damn cool pls.. last week was my first lesson with him cos i transferred to his class... then he is like old and bald.. but very nice blueblue eyes. like not too dark to see, yet not so light its scary kind.. like ocean.. so anyways... then he was in a suit.. with a blue tie.. like wah so shuai.. then got a piercing on his ear..

then today.. jeans, converse and a leather jacket. WAHHHHH SO BENG! LOLLL made him look 10 years younger. LOL.

and i wanna tell tsuisan this.. if you have a good tutor, you will love law.. rmb i complain to you about law? after transferring to him, i now so gung ho [craving to use this word cos joyce used it on the scrapbook LOL] to read law and i actually remember cases okay!!! LAW IS ACTUALLY FUN IF YOU SUPER ENTHU.

i think i shall pangsai before i do law everytime. LOL. super high leh.

its so sad that im really 6000km away from the great pals i have in singapore. of course i should also be grateful for my family and my love, but today really made me think about my awesome 8 other classmates that i hang out with so much, and my wonderful '158 mate'. =)

today i caught inception with my friends at fountain gate.. and yea i wasnt feeling so great during the outing.. and i guess some tension amongst my unimates have grown over these short weeks.. these short weeks, its not enough time for people to understand each other as great as the greatest pals i have back in singapore..

i remember in singapore, when i wasnt feeling happy, many in my group would notice, and would genuinely be nice and caring.. over here, not only does no one notice, but no one is nice and caring.. they came from a dog-eat-dog world.. and i dont blame them for the way they were brought up, i came from a very pampered background and i know it.

then on our way back, it was a quiet bus ride home in the dark winding roads of narre warren [dont worry i wasnt alone].. i missed those times i was the lightbulb of ts and ch, or all alone to the jungles at hillside/seletar. i miss the sense of safeness there is in singapore. there was a case of a girl recently, who went to a stop about 4 train stops from my place, and she was raped by guys outside the public toilet, and no one cared. or how pple here are stabbed or robbed.. its a scary world out here.

i miss the times i could walk out alone, whether at night or early in the morning. i miss the times i would wake up super early to visit hiro before school.. i miss the times where the only problem about being alone is that there is no one to talk to. i miss the times my friends and i could just sit at a restaurant like swensens or macs and have so much to talk about. over here, we hardly have any common modules, let alone common topics. i miss the times my mom would worry about me walking home myself so she'll get my dad to pick me up. over here, you watch your own back, cos no one's gonna take care of you. over here, though not very obvious, you can feel a racial thing going on. over here, its just lonely.

i told myself i wont think about home, i wont miss anyone. cos when you miss them, it just hurts even more. think of it as, im in a holiday.. and i'll be back in november. but sometimes, little things make you pine so hard for the company back home, the love and warmth that only home could provide.

note: i know this whole entry was structured horribly.. but my heads a mess right now. so, my apologies if im talking gibberish.

and p.s. i love you baby. dont be mad at me any longer.
